I see a lot of Irregular Miniatures stuff and so when they started a range of 54mm figures I was mildly interested. When they produced gladiator figures I was hooked. Although I have a fascination for small scales, these seemed just as daft so I bought some.

I am working up some rules (now called AVE NEMESIS) as I paint up the figures. I have demonstrated early versions of the rules at two shows in 2001 and hope to have a complete version ready for a demo game at Phalanx 2002 in St. Helens.
